Traditional bathroom design

Traditional bathroom design is one of the most common bathroom designs in our homes, and for good reason. Traditional bathrooms are what we have come to expect.  No gadgets or new fangled knobs, just all the required fixtures and fittings and where you'd expect them.

Traditional bathrooms are often quite conservative and neutral in design, often refering to designs from the Victorian and Edwardian eras.  So it might not have high tech appliances or striking colours but it will suit the tastes of the majority.  Traditional does not mean something your parents would choose, but it does mean keeping with traditional bath and toilet shapes using traditional materials.

Classical bathroom design

So for a traditional look we need classic shapes, materials and fittings.  Rolled edges, free standing baths, cross head taps and wooden floors.  Traditional bathroom designs are tried and tested, so for those not wanting to be radical or experimental this style is for you.
