Bathroom lighting

Bathroom lighting is obviously very important within a bathroom, or you wouldnt be able to see anything.  There are many alternatives to the single dangling bulb in the centre of the room as well.

You can have lights on the wall, ceiling or floor.  They can be inside or above your mirror, bath or shower and they can be normal filament bulbs, halogen, spotlights or led's. You also need to consider maximising natural light via exterior walls or roof windows or making partitions that allow light in from adjacent rooms.
